We Are Cat Friendly!

We are a proud member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.  The AAFP improves the health and welfare of cats by supporting high standards of practice, continuing education, and scientific investigation.  As a member practice, we have taken the steps necessary to elevate the standard of care given to our feline patients, to help build productive relationships with our cat owners which will result in improved care.  

Your special 'feline friendly' experience starts when you walk in the front 'feline entrance'.  As you face the building, the door to the left side is designated as the feline entrance to the hospital.  

This leads into the feline side of our hospital.  You will see a large selection of feline prescription and lifestage diets as well as treats.  A couple of small steps will bring you to feline reception and a feline-exclusive waiting area.

Cats feel safe when they are elevated off the ground level.  We have provided a shelf that will safely accommodate a feline carrier to allow your cat to look around her surroundings and feel safe.

We have a quiet  feline-exclusive examination room complete with a warm laminate counter top instead of cold stainless steel, a feline scale, and pheromone diffusers and sprays to naturally calm your cat.

In addition, our staff and veterinarians are trained to handle your feline friend gently and safely to ensure the experience is a positive one.
